SONGS TO LOOK FOR:Thick as Thieves, Someone Like You, Begin Again, About A Girl

I love this band with a passion, because I think that they're great. While I'm not a huge fan of this particular album, there are some super catchy songs on here that make up for the fact that it's not as good as Love Like This (which I reviewed back in April). "About A Girl" is a slow love song that I listen to on repeat for insane amounts of time, but "Someone Like You" is fast, catchy, and upbeat. Trust me, you'll get it stuck in your head for days (if not weeks) at a time. "Must be the Music" is a great song to listen to when you want to get ready for a party (or wake up in the morning), but "Thick As Thieves" is catchy enough to make you want to listen, but slow enough to calm you down. "Begin Again" is my favorite song on the album because of the lyrics. It's fast-paced, and it just lets you know that you can screw up as many times as it takes, but you can still move forward. Brian Dales(the lead singer) said that this song was the song that let him know they were ready to move on, and that it's the most similar to the first album.

SECONDLY: A book review!

THE BOOK-The Hunger Games
THE AUTHOR-Suzanne Collins
RATING-5 stars
This book, or rather series, is one of the greatest series that I have had the opportunity to read in a long time and I have to admit that my main reason for loving it was the setting. For those of you unfamiliar with the series (shame on you!), it's about the future of the United States after a devastating event that destroys almost all life, except for one city called Panem and 13 surrounding colonies. Panem decides that they want to control everything, so they wage war, and the 13 districts are eventually defeated and put under Panem's control. The 13th district is eventually destroyed, and is used as an example, much like the Hunger Games.  The Hunger Games are Panem's way of showing that they still control the 12 districts and can destroy them with ease if they really wanted. The rules are simple: 2 representatives from each of the districts are sent to the Capitol City where they'll fight the other 22 contestants to the death in an arena that can be controlled. The book is fantastic, fast-paced and addicting. I read the book in a little more than 2 hours and quickly jumped onto the second book. It's entertaining and definitely worth picking up at a bookstore or a library.

I feel like I'm the worst person to write summaries, just because I don't know what to leave out or what to put in. Anyways, I hope you all grab "The Hunger Games" and read them as quickly as you. Literally, you don't want to put these books down because they get to be addicting.

deuces.
